Jesus' Mercy Changes Me, We and the World

The Best Neighbor

What does God require of me today?

In this time of great unrest, where do I fit into God’s plan? How do I hear His voice calling me?
We are still facing a Health crisis. Do I volunteer in a health care setting?
We are still facing the injustice in racism.  Do I march in peaceful protest?
We are facing extreme divisiveness in our country.  Do I take a more vocal/financial support of the issues.
The list is endless.
Am I still expecting things to return to ‘normal’? Do I have any idea of what the new normal will look like?
Today, the term ‘Good Samaritan” refers to a person who helps others in a random act of kindness. What does the Bible teach us? Help when someone needs help?
Having an intent to help is good, but acting on that intent is far better! The Good Samaritan didn’t care about skin color, ethnicity, or religious beliefs. We are all created equal.  We all belong to the same race, the human race!
Who is my neighbor is the wrong question. Everyone is my neighbor.  So, how do I be the best neighbor?

Mark 12:30-31“And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
No other commandment is greater than these.”
