Jesus' Mercy Changes Me, We and the World

Sunday to Monday | Glow

February 21 brought a morning of worship, followed by the Annual Congregational Gathering. Pastor Dave reminded us that God’s voice at Jesus’ baptism is good and trustworthy. We listen to God’s voice that tells us we are beloved; we don’t need to listen to the voices in the world that try to tell us otherwise. If you missed being with us, you can view it here. And, see some photos here.

The Annual Congregational Gathering & Celebration was held via Zoom. Mark Autterson was the convener and led us well. We remembered how God was with us even in the midst of the pandemic in 2020 so that we can trust God will be with us in 2021. We celebrated giving away over $77,000 and looked through photos from throughout the year. We renewed our commitment to the mission and vision of God’s Grace as we do every year. Pastor Dave shared the State of the Church report in worship and highlighted a few things at the meeting. You can affirm your participation in the mission by filling out the form on this page and beneath that there is a link to Pastor Dave’s report. See photos here.

On Saturday, we focused on Listening to God at the Advance, presented by Pastor Scott Seeke via Zoom. If you missed the event, you can watch it here and see photos here.

We take our faith into the week, reflecting and discussing and remembering.

  • Read Mark 1:9-13. What voices do you listen to? Why?
  • How is brokenness something to be used and celebrated?
  • What do you want to learn from God this Lent? How will you try to do that?
