Jesus' Mercy Changes Me, We and the World

Sing a New Song

When’s the last time you sang a song to God? Thanked God for who God is? Sometimes we get so caught up in feeling like God is not doing what we want God to do.

But God is worthy of our praise and thanks through all things, even when we’re not getting our way, struggling or suffering. God has promised to be with us – no matter what.

So let’s sing and praise God – because we know that sometimes even when we don’t start out meaning it, it can move us into believing it.

Psalm 96:1-9

Sing a new song to the Lord!
    Let the whole earth sing to the Lord!
Sing to the Lord; praise his name.
    Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.
Publish his glorious deeds among the nations.
    Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.
Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise!
    He is to be feared above all gods.
The gods of other nations are mere idols,
    but the Lord made the heavens!
Honor and majesty surround him;
    strength and beauty fill his sanctuary.
O nations of the world, recognize the Lord;
    recognize that the Lord is glorious and strong.
Give to the Lord the glory he deserves!
    Bring your offering and come into his courts.
Worship the Lord in all his holy splendor.
    Let all the earth tremble before him.

We hope you’ll be with us on the stream tomorrow at 10:00 am MDT for worship. It’s good for us to be together through the Spirit. And remember to submit the names of your saints for All Saints Sunday on November 1 here.

Grace be with you,
