Jesus' Mercy Changes Me, We and the World

“Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity.  All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.”  1 Corinthians 13 Vs. 12

I look forward to the gathering of my God’s Grace family on Wednesday evenings, just as I look forward to Sunday mornings.  I have two days into a new week when we gather.   I’m noticing that I crave interaction with my brothers and sisters at the Well.  It’s natural, a soul thing, when I consent to be part of this community, it always evolves into deeper communion we have with one another.  When we meet, I get to try on different viewpoints.  The discussions, help to shape who I am.  For a time, we can share sacred space, often at the end of a busy day.  A time for calm and grace.   The fit is different for each of us.  We all have some ingrained beliefs and self-doubt. The love we share, coaxes that which is in each of us to grow.  Together we call upon it for guidance, wisdom and direction.   Together we call upon it for comfort and ultimate peace.

Our Abba, God,

Thank you for moments that connect us.  For times spent in silence with you and for those times spent in community with others.  Help us to see you in each person we meet.  Help us see you in the needs of others.   In these times grant us greater wisdom and compassion, a desire for your justice.   For your love and the abundance of chances to live life through you, we give thanks. Amen
