Jesus' Mercy Changes Me, We and the World

David Jensen

In John chapter 5, Jesus asked the man at the pool of Bethesda who had been ill for 38 years, “Do you want to be made well?” When he indicated that he did, Jesus took action to make sure that he was made well. It is our intention as a missional community to recognize that we all need to be healed, everyone has brokenness of some kind.  At God’s Grace Community Church (GGCC) Christ is at work giving us all the courage to say, “yes we want to be made well.”  When we are honest it allows Jesus to practice mercy within us and through us, that healing and hope might abound in the Kingdom of God (the world and the cosmos.) We come before Jesus craving God’s love, and peace.

I was born and raised in Iowa. My wife Amy and I moved to Colorado in 1998.  It has been my greatest professional joy to serve as pastor of God’s Grace since its inception in November of 2004. Two of our children live in the Denver metro area still. The other with his wife, and our only grandchild, live in Texas.

In my free time I like to hike, coach tennis, read books, spend time with family and friends.
