Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
A couple decades ago one of my dear friends and mentors, psychologist Dr. Jack Stark, recommended I read the book, “Man’s [Women’s/Humanity’s] Search for Meaning” by Viktor Frankl. Frankl himself was a psychiatrist who survived the Nazi death camps. The common thread that Frankl found in each survivor was that they had a vision or purpose they still needed to carry out.
In your toughest days what gets you through? God has given each of us a purpose that propels us past our obstacles. There is no day so dark that the light of Christ won’t shine light upon a path forward.
That which would give light must endure burning.”Viktor Frankl, survivor of the Nazi death camps.
For further reflection read, “Man’s Search for Meaning” by Viktor Frankl.
Prayers: That God will reveal with greater clarity each day the meaning of your life. All who mourn Lyle Mercer. We will be lifting up Lyle’s life and memory in our worship service this Sunday morning at 10 am.
*We hope to see each of you this evening at the zoom ministry, The Well. We start at 6 pm. If you need a zoom invite, let Vikki Luce firstname.lastname@example.org know.*
Still in one peace,
Pastor David J Jensen
