Jesus' Mercy Changes Me, We and the World

Got Grace?

We all need a little grace. We are caught up in our own thoughts and cut someone off, or reach in front of another, or step before people waiting. We thoughtlessly take the last piece, put an empty container back, or leave the door open (or closed) behind us. We interrupt, don’t listen, and judge.

We need to receive grace and we need to give grace. Grace is realizing that we don’t know all that another person is going through. Grace is giving the benefit of doubt, not taking offense, and seeing things with wonder. Grace is recognizing the humanity and image of God in each person.

Paul writes:

As grace increases to benefit more and more people, it will cause gratitude to increase, which results in God’s glory. 2 Corinthians 4:15 CEB

Can we help grace to increase? Not the grace of God – that’s infinite! But grace from ourselves to others. Grace in the world. Grace overflowing that points to God – because God is where our grace comes from.

We want to see you! In-person! Tomorrow we are worshipping with some new-to-us sisters and brothers in Christ at Granite Peaks Church, 810 Knox Ct, Denver 80204. Join us at 10:00 am live and in-person or via the stream. It won’t be the same without you.

Grace be with you,
