In The Well this fall we’re talking about kindness. How it seems to be in short supply these days. How kindness tends to be construed as weakness. How kindness means to remember that each person around us is created in the image of God. Each one.
We can practice kindness – together. We won’t be perfect at it, but we can try. Join us on Sept 22 to get in on the discussion.
"May we learn to open in love
so all the doors and windows
of our bodies swing wide
on their rusty hinges.
May we learn to give ourselves with both hands
to lift each other on our shoulders,
to carry one another along.
May holiness move in us
so we pay attention to its small voice
and honor its light in each other."
— Dawna Markova
We are reminded of the importance of kindness and caring for each person created in the image of God this 20th anniversary of 9/11.
We’ll be looking for you tomorrow at 10:00 am MDT to worship in-person at RCHS or via the stream. Afterward, join us downstairs in the RCHS courtyard at picnic tables for a Broncos/Football Celebration lunch! Cleo Frye is smoking up some meat and beans, bring a side dish to share- or just bring yourself.
Grace be with you,
